Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips Review

I was given the chance by Influenster to try out Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips. I will be reviewing it today and just so everyone knows I am not paid by anyone to test out the product or to review it.

The instructions were to use them daily for 20 days, for 30 minutes. There is a strip for both the top and bottom row of teeth. I found it was easier to apply the top strip than the bottom strip but that may be because my bottom teeth are really crooked. Overall I had no problems applying them except when my lips were chapped because the touch of my fingers against my lips made them hurt a little.

There is a weird taste in my opinion and I'm guessing due to the chemicals on the strip coming off. Also I would guess this is why I felt a weird feeling on my tongue as well. I could drink while using these strips without any problems. I could tell the strips were there and it did feel weird to talk with them in. I've never worn a retainer but my nephew tried some white-strips and he says that is what it felt like to him. I noticed more how it felt on my back teeth where the ends of the strip were as well as the back of the teeth themselves.

It says that you will see results as early as 3 days and that was definitely true for me. However by day 9 I started to notice sensitivity and the toothpaste I use is suppose to help with sensitivity but I still noticed it anyways. After completing the process however I don't notice sensitivity as much but since I deal with it anyways at times, I only notice what I normally deal with so basically it only made it worse during the 20 day period but afterwards it went back to what's normal for me.

Overall I am impressed by the results. My only complaint is not all the teeth are covered of course and well I know others won't notice but I can look in the mirror at my back teeth and see the difference between them and the teeth the strip covered. I always thought my teeth were pretty white to begin with but these strips showed me that they could get a little more white.

I took before and after pictures but all of them was with a phone and I will say that you can't really tell by looking at the pictures how my teeth were before or how they were after. I tried my best to capture them just to prove that these strips do work. It says you can use them twice a year but for someone like me I think I would stick to once a year if even that.

I took a look at various sites and these strips can be found online for around $40-$45 maybe more. You can visit their website at http://www.3dwhite.com/ for more information on any of their products as well as where to buy them.

Before I end this review remember, " If You're Not Whitening, You're Yellowing." Thanks Influenster and Crest for the chance to try out these strips. I'll be recommending them to many family members and friends.

College Voxbox 2012 from Influenster

I am a member of Influenster which is a site anyone can join that if you qualfy they will send you a voxbox for items to try. I was chosen for the College Voxbox 2012 and this is my review on the items I received. I am not paid to try or review any products from Influenster.

Below is a picture of all the items together which I will say when I first opened the box I was very happy with all the products included.

These are the imPress Press-On Manicure nails. I was given "Wink Wink."When I got these nails, I instantly loved the design and knew I wanted to wear them both on Thanksgiving Day and also that Saturday for what we call "the Ironbowl" which is just when the UA Crimson Tide plays the Auburn Tigers.

The instructions were very simple and easy to understand. I had no problem with applying them. For the most part they stayed on well. Although I thought they would come off during Thanksgiving while I was cooking, eating, and taking pictures. They didn't nor did they move at all while I was sleeping. The first time I took a shower none came off nor did they catch my hair. However by the 3rd day, one did come off but I was able to put it on again. I ended up taking them off on the 4th day because they still kept snagging on my hair when the beginning of the nail meets the cuticle. Also the sticky part underneath that was showing caught dirt as well. They were very easy to take off. I didn't have to use anything to help me take them off even though it stated you may.

Overall I did like them but I just don't think they are for me. For the price however ($5.99 for colors, $7.99 for patterns) it's not worth to buy in my opinion. Pictured below is when I wore them on Thanksgiving.

These are Mint Boost Energy Sheets. You can find them for $5.95 per pack of 10 sheets. Both my mom and I tried these. For me they worked well compared to other energy boosters I have tried. I did like the mint flavor and it does dissolve quickly on your tounge. Actually mine wanted to break apart and stick to my roof but I really didn't mind. As for my mom she used them and says the flavor was ok and that they really helped her to feel more energized on the job. Since these worked well I am interested in trying the sleep ones as well.

This is the Pentel EnerGel-X pen. It does write in purple ink which I really loved the color of the ink. It wrote very smooth but the paper I used it on which was regular notebook paper, it bled a little through the back. I'm a big fan of gel pens and I would highly reccommend this pen. However it isn't exactly cheap at $1.50 per pen.

These are Necco Tropical Wafers. Flavors include lime, strawberry, mango, coconut, passion fruit, and banana. They were very tasty and fruity. I did enjoy all the flavors but my favorite would have to be lime and strawberry. My least favorite would be the coconut one but I'm not much a fan of coconut anyways. I let my mom, younger sister and youngest nephew tried them. All of them said they were ok However both my sister and I both agreed that they made our mouths feel dry a little. Overall I would buy these again and reccommend anyone to try them. You can find them for $1.25 each, $24.00 per box or $37.40 per Tub.

This is the NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eye-liner pencil. Since receiving this I have worn it many times including Thanksgiving. It really helped bring out my eyes more and complete the look I was going for. I love that there is glitter and it's not too much that it looks gaudy, it's just the right amount. I had no problems cleaning it off either, including the glitter. I received many compliments with this and definitely will be using it for Christmas as well as New Years. This is one product I would reccommend and I do intend on trying in other colors. I think for the price of $2.49 per pencil it's definitely worth trying out. It would make a great stocking stuffer in my opinion.

Overall I had a great experience with these products from the college voxbox. Thanks very much Influenster and all the brands of the products included for giving me a chance to try these products out.

NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eyeliner

I received this eyeliner in my College Voxbox 2012 from Influenster so I could test it out and review it. I am not paid by anyone to test or review it. Pictured below is the eyeliner.

Since having this product I have worn it a few times. All times I receive many compliments on how good I looked and well I would have to agree that this eyeliner really helped with my look. It made my eyes "pop" which I hardly put a lot on since I try to keep my look as natural as possible.

I already own a few eyelineers but what sets this one apart is the glitter. I think it adds just enough sparkle to any look. It's not too much glitter at all. I had no trouble putting on or taking it off. Some  eyeliners I feel like I had to scrub my skin off to remove but this one came off with ease for me, even the glitter. I definitely would reccommend this someone else and I even plan on buying other colors as well. I think for the price it's worth it and not a waste at all. I do plan on wearing this for Christmas as well.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

I'm a member of Influenster and was chosen for the College Voxbox 2012 to test and review any products inside. I'm not paid to do anything for this site. One of the products inside was the Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure. Pictured below is my nails that I chose to wear on Thanksgiving Day.

As I said, I wore these for Thanksgiving and also was hoping they would last until Saturday for the Ironbowl which is when the Alabama Crimson Tide plays the Auburn Tigers. I thought since they were so pretty they would look good for both occasions. I loved the design the minute I seen them. They were very easy to put on and in my opinion they almost look real except for where the nail meets the cuticle. By the end of the 3rd day of wearing these, this is the part that was coming up a little and snagging on my hair.

For the most part they stayed on well even though I thought they would come off during Thanksgiving while I was cooking, eating, and taking pictures. Well they didn't nor did they move at all while I was sleeping. The first time I took a shower none came off nor did they catch my hair. However by the 3rd day, one did come off but I was able to put it on and as I said in the last paragraph, they kept snagging on my hair. I ended up taking them off on the 4th day because they still kept catching my hair. They were very easy to take off.

Overall I did like them but I just don't think they are for me. For the price it's not worth to buy in my opinion. Anyways I'm not one to go and get my nails done except for maybe a manicure but even then I still use my natural nails. I prefer to just paint them myself at home even if it means I don't get a pretty design. If I want a design I think I'll pay extra for the salon.
